Natalie White was born in 1975 in Singapore. She studied at Chethams School of Music, Manchester, before gaining a place at the Royal College of Music, London, graduating in 1998. Whilst at the RCM, Natalie was awarded the Bernard Walton clarinet prize, and the Roger Whittaker prize for chamber music. She also reached the national finals of the Yamaha Foundation Wind Scholarships and broadcast on BBC Radio 3. Natalie then went on to study privately with Andrew Marriner, completing her studies in December 2001.

As a founder member of the Aurora Wind Quintet whilst at the RCM, Natalie performed throughout the UK; the group also toured Austria, culminating in a performance on ODR television.
Natalie has also performed as a soloist and chamber musician at St Martin in the Fields, the Purcell Room, National Gallery, London, and at venues in France, Italy, and South East Asia. She has played with the London Philharmonic Youth Orchestra, National Musicians Symphony Orchestra, and is currently principal clarinet of Riverside Opera Orchestra.

In much demand as a teacher and orchestral player Natalie now lives in Rickmansworth.
