Teaching has always been an important part of Eleanor’s career. She is Visiting Tutor in Piano at Royal Holloway, University of London, and teaches piano and chamber music at the Junior Department of the Royal Academy of Music. Many of her students have gone on to study at music colleges and conservatoires, both in the UK and abroad, and have also achieved success in national competitions and festivals, and music diploma examinations.

Eleanor gives lectures and masterclasses: subjects have included “The 21st Century Piano” and “The Development of the Piano in Chamber Music”. Since 2005 she has been an examiner for the Associated Board, a post that takes her throughout the UK and abroad.
