Eleanor Hodgkinson - Home

Have you ever made a Jig-a-large? Or created music of chance? Help save the planet Symbio and learn about different sorts of music and art.

These are some of the things you can experience in our multi-arts project “The Moon Ants Law”. Originally devised to span 10 weeks, with art and music being created around a central story, the project can be broken up, expanded or tailored to meet your needs. Topics explored include Impressionism, Music of Chance, Pop Art and multi-tracking. A presentation and display is made at the end of the sessions, and there will be a chance to record all the music created onto a CD for you to take home.

It is aimed at 8-12 year olds; no experience or musical instrument is necessary, just plenty of enthusiasm. It would be suitable for schools or arts centres, and can be run as a week-long activity or in block sessions to suit your schedule.

Maximum number of participants: 30
